Swim club needs people

BY

PHILIPPA

FRENCH

The newly elected committee members of the Waiouru Swimming Club would like to express their thanks to all the out going members for their hard work and efforts over the past year. The club is dependent on help and support

from volunteers from the community willing to instruct the classes with the assistance from a qualified life saving and swimming instructor. Club nights are Tuesday an Wednesdays with the children being placed in classes according to their ability

ranging from the little ones gaining water confidence to the older children at the competing stage. Although the club is fortunate to have the excellent pool facilities for their Use, because of the nature of he community with people being continuously posted new volunteer instructors are always sought after. Those who would like to help the club or have any enquiries regarding the club activities are asked to contact the club secretary CPORS Hunt at 56-111 extension 652 during working hours.
