Turoa tumbler returns

Turoa Tumbler Carys Hubbard returned to Ohakune yesterday from Perth where she took her place on the New Zealand Level 8 representative gymnastics team. Carys' competition had its ups and downs but she was quite pleased at being the highest scoring New Zealand girl in her team. Despite increasing her total and her team improving their performance they didn't have enough to beat the Australians. Two bonuses for the Kiwis came from having the best two vaulters, winning the Gold and Silver apparatus medals.
