Queen's Birthday Honours

1 read with mterest and with some empathy the letter from Mrs Wise on the above topic. I note that she "failed to even get a reply" from the local Rotary Club. Why this came about I have no idea but I assure Mrs Wise that its Community Service Committee agreed entirely with her move, spent considerable time on research and I certainly remember assisting with the drafting of a submission. Of course in such matters discussiort. is very much limited to a "need to know circle" but this should not have prevented advice to Mrs Wise on what was being done. For this failure I apologise on behalf of the Club.
