Birth service rates highly
I came several weeks ago to stay with my grand-daughter who was expecting her third baby, she has all sorts of problems in the carrying period and the usual performance at the birth. After three false starts the baby was eventually born and grand-daughter and new baby came home to Waiouru the following day. I was none to happy about this, I felt it much too soon etc, especially when everyone was up in the air about the naternity care available here.
Our baby is two weeks old and we have had the best care possible given by the Community Midwife Libby Tuthill, who's care, attention, support and quiet charm made it all so easy. Have no fears new Mums, you don't need a Maternity Hospital, you've got Libby who assures me she and her four wheel drive will get you to wherever you need to go when your time comes. Good on her eh!
