High flying kids!

Jenny Murdie, one of Turoa Tumblers' smaller ! gymnasts, stands confidantly on top of a pyramid of local junior gymnasts who all took part in the Wanganui Manawatu Junior Open Gymnastic Championships recently. The group, comprising Grades 7 and 8 Girls and Grades 9 and 10 Boys, enjoyed a successful day in Wanganui, competing on a variety of apparatus. A truck load of equipment and many carloads of gymnasts and support teams of officials made the journey. They were rewarded for their efforts with a bouquet of gold, silver and bronze medals.
