Waimarino golf
Sunday's Waimarino Golf was sponsored by Dekker Machinery and Collections of Ohakune. Very good conditions prevailed for Sunday's golf but the juniors still turned in some good scores. Senior results saw T Fredricks Jnr take home 1st prize with 38 stableford points. 2nd was T Ger-
aghty with 37 points, 3rd was B Drinkwater with 36 points. Junior: P Craig 1st prize with 42 points plus the 'Roarers Mug'; C McDonald 41; J Hammond 37; D Blackburn 37. Sunday 25th June is the first qualifying round for the club championships.
