Gullible locals

In answer to CAS & Budget Services "Thank you Concillors" published 6 June 1989. The gullibility of the local people continually amazes me. Surely, you have your Post Office agency set up un the council sub-office but at what cost and to whom? Before accepting that this was a wholly humane move by your mayor and council, some questions need to be asked and answered. In my mind these questions are: How much business must be generated daily to cover costs of initial buying of stamps, postal wages and overheads? What is the agency paid by the NZPO for other services i.e Motor registrations etc taking into account again the overheads and wages carried by ratepayers? Presuming the Waimarino District Council supports the agency - what is the input from the rest of the community when the WDC support is removed?
