Waimarino golf
Waimarino Golf Club's competition played on Saturday was the Kennedy Cup Town versus Country. This was played in very wet conditions and the eventual winners were Town, 9-5. The winner of the day in the Junior section was C Allerby 63 nett followed by: J Mcllroy 70, C Turner 71, J
Hammond 73, T Frederick Snr 74. The winner of the Senior section was T Donghi 68 nett followed by: B Drinkwater 69, S Magee 69, M Kennedy 69. The roarer's mug went to Colin Allerby. Sponsors were Waimarino Electrical and Bucks Drapery.
