TRAFFIC OFFICER TAKES ON HUKAROA WARD
The Waimarino's Ministry of Transport Officer, Ian Harrison, is the District Council's new Hukaroa ward representative. Mr Harrison's was the only nomination re--ceived for the position, despite the vacancy being advertised. Mayor Garrick Workman expressed disappointment that no one from the ward had put their name forward for nomination. He commended Mr Harrison for his interest and extended coneratulations for his appointment..
