RUAPEHU'S REGION REPRESENTATION TO BE LOOKED AT BY LGC
Representation of the Ruapehu District on the Wanganui-Manawatu regional council will be studied by the Local Govenunent Commission. . In the Commission's draft scheme the district was to have just one representative on the region's council, but this was based on a population of 16,000, not 20,000 as is the case.
