Babysitting

Coping with all manner if situations was the object lesson for the 11 people who registered for the Ohakune Plunket's babysitter's training course on Saturday. Plunket organisers were disappointed with the attendance numbers. The poor showing by College pupils was attributed to a clash of dates with a drama production currently underway. Two women and three boys were part of the group that successfully completed the one-day course, that featured practical demonstrations by St John Ambulance and Fire Brigade officials as well as videos and written literature on coping with any emergency.
