Wanganui auctioneer Mike Taylor calls for a final bid on one of the concrete mixers on offer at last Saturday's Parapara council depot. Spirited bidding carried on throughout the day with good prices paid for most goods, as well as the odd bargain. Waimarino Livestock were the agents for the sale of mostly ex-council equipment, and they said they were very pleased with the sale. More than 200 bidders registered for the auction.
