Malcolm Lumsden, Junior Vice President of Federated Farmers, will be visiting the Waimarino district on Monday April 17. Four wool shed meetings have been arranged giving farmers in the district an opportunity to express their opinions on how Federated Farmers can become a stronger rural force. Malcolm Lumsden, who is well versed on Federated Farmers matters, will be prepared to answer any questions put to him, say organisers. Venues are William Wallis' woolshed, Karioi Domain Road at 9am to be followed by Ilam at Jim Bennett's Shed, Ngapakihi Road, 2pm at Ian Enright's, Makakahi Road and 4pm at Dan Alabaster's, Middle Road. The Annual General meeting of the Waimarino Branch will be held at the Ruapehu Hotel Raetihi, on Monday evening.
