$1 MILLION LOSS FOR NEW ZEALAND SKI FIELDS
New Zealand Ski Fields Ltd has declared a $1,06700 operating loss for the year ended December 31. This reflected the worst ski season ever for Turoa. Skier days were down more than 50 per cent on previous years. The preceding year the tax-paid profit was $147,000. The company's directors have said major cost reductions have been implemented with management and procedure changes made which are desiened to boost Drofitabilitv.
