Young diver wins gold

Two young Waimarino divers won gold, silver and bronze at the National Diving Championships held last week. Kelly Arahanga and Quinn Henare both dived in the 13 and under age group at the event which was held at the Auckland Com-

monwealth Games' pool at Henderson . Kelly won gold diving off the one metre board and broke the highest points score record in doing so. He won silver in the tower dive and Quinn won bronze in the same event. Kelly won a gold in

the three metre event and Quinn won a bronze in the three metre event. Mrs Cynthia Binzeg-

ger was presented with a bouquet of flowers at the championships in recognition of hef dedication to coaching.
