WAC to regroup

The Waiouru Area Committee is to reform, the committee chairman Gordon Mottram told the Bulletin last week. The committee recently went into recess because it "did not want to be perceived as being obstructive and strength depleting" as Waiouru faced local government reform. Mr Mottram said the

committee was "invigorated with new members" and would meet as soon as is convenient for members. He said the main matter of concern for the committee was the "obtaining of two nonmilitary voting members for the Ruapehu District Council Transition Committee."
