Tnis Compmy is being- formed for the purpose of promoting and carrying on a purely Farme-.s' Co-operative business. It is proposed to s'art operations by taking over as a guing concern the old-established business of W. J. Hurst ami Co.- Queen-street, Grain, Seed, Manure, and .Produce Merchants. The Stock-in-trade and Business will be taken over at a valuation free from all liabilities at the end of the year.

Eive Hundred Pally Paid-up Shares are to be allo'ed to the firm of "W. J. Hurst and Co. in payment of the goodwill of their business. The services of Mr. A. H. Granger have been secured as Managing Director for seven years, at a nominal salary for the first two years, and after that period at such salary as the Directors, in vieu of the increased business may determine.

All employees and agents of the Company are tc be shareholders. The terms are 7s. 6d, per share on application, ss. "on allotment, and the remainder to be called up in calls of 2s. fid. per share at intervals of not less than three months between each call.

The calls are payable either in cash or produce at the option of the shareholder. In oase of an application for five Shares or under, the full amount of 12s Gel per Share will be payable on allo'ment.
