TO THE EDITOR, . Sir,-=-J*s it is wise that the public should be fully informed on all matters relating .to the above fund, ■the trustees would ask you to insert •the following in. your paper. The sub- < with the approval of the •trustees, lias re«olved" that the funds shall be administered in the follow!ng manner : :-*r Put the money in the banks on fixr <ed deposit. It will then bear the .current rate of interest which- is at •present from 3to 3? £ per cent, Then •pay the principal and interest to Mi, .James Darroch or his widow^ so that the whole sum will be absorbed ;in 15 years.. Each £10.0 so invested •will give an approximate income over the period of principal £6 13s. .4'). .and a mean interest £1 10s. In all for each £100 about £8 Bs. -id. per .annum.
