PUHOI NEWS.

On Sunday, November 17tb., the Very Rev. father Benedict Tickeil.. 0. P., one of the most distinguished, pulpit orators of the English Piovince of JYiors preachers, -will open a short mission in the Church of S.S. Peter and Paul, Puhoi. There will be morning and evening services, and a special lecture for the children in the afternoon At the close uf the Mission,. Friday, 22nd. inst., the Right Rev. Bishop Lenihan will hold his customary visitation of the parish and administer the Sacriment of Confirmation.

A grand concert and dance in aid of the Puhoi Church Funds, will be held in the Pnhoi Town Hall, on Friday,, November 29th. The Rev. W. H.. Cocoran and Mr. Fifcz Scholium, (.Hon. Secretary) have .secured some of the very best Auckland and local talent, together with Barthley's famous ban I for the occasion. This will be one of the most unique and charming summer en'ertainments ever given at Puhoi, All lovers of the terpsiehichorean art, should not miss this grand opportunity. The concert and dance ought to prove a very brilliant success. [Adv.]
