Mr. Morrison proposed, Mr. Hood seconded that the chairman with Messrs Mieklejohn and 0. Thomson bo a committee to see into the matter of tlijs boundaries with power to act and to arrange between adjoining owners and deal with the tenders for fencing- same. Carrier}.

Re notice of motion, tabled by Mr. Morrison at previous meeting1, that athletic competition be added to the programme. Secretaries, Maungaturoto and Omaha Societies announcing dates of of then- Shows. The subject of fixing the day for the next show gave rise to a heated discussion. Messrs Carrie, .Trot'er, Martin and King advocated the show being held ©n a Saturday, they being of the opinion that it would conduce to a larger Auckland attendance which they considered was desisable. They pointed out that businessmen would come, whwh Would-lead to Auckland firms exllibiting on a larger scale than heretofore.

Mr. Carrie proposed and Mr. Trott-r seconded that the date for next Show be held on Saturday, March Ist. 1902. Mr. Morrison moved an amendment Mr. Thomson seconded, that the show day be not fixed for a Saturday. Mr. Morrison said his reason for this was, that holding the «how on Saturday necessitated th-e •exhibitors working on Sunday to clear away their exhibits and he strongly objected Jon his own and other peoples' behalf,.
