Mr. King proposed, Mr. Martin seconded that the secretary write to the Minister for Agriculture requesting that a Dairy expert be sent here to address public meetings at Warkworth and surrounding districts> Cartied unanimously. The secretary reported that he had not received any direct reply .from the Acclimatization Society re hawks, "but saw thro ugh the papers that that society had dealt with the matter stating that they could do nothing at present as they had already spent a considerable amount on the destruction of hawks. The matter of stocking .the creeks with fish was discussed, but it-was thought that there were too many eels in the local water to give the fish a a chance to thrive. Revising of Schedule, On the proposition of Mr. King, seconded by Mr. Trotter, the schedule was further ■revised, several alterations being made. Ercm Messrs Thompson and. Hill •offering special prizes of 10s. for best three varieties of peaches suitable for canning: It was, agreed to add si second prize of 3s. !
