to THE EDITOR ' Sir, —I. noticed recently "that you stated a movement was soon to be made to form a Mounted Rifle Volunteer' corps, in Rodney. I should like to ask. if you can inform me it, in the event of such a company being formed a detachment.of tlie company could be enrolled and maintained as a separate body at Port 4-fbert? as there are many young men here who I am sure would join.
