WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Goverameiit has mvited the Waterside Workers* Unioit to consider ihe pbssibility of form!ng a co-operative coshpany of workers to eontract for cargo handling. This offer was held over pending settle•ment of the immedjate guaranteed wage demahds of the v imioii. Now that these de-;. mands have been, dealt wit.h the co-operative scheme willC eoine forward again. It is not certain, howeVer, _ that uch a scheme can be evolved to the atisfaetion of all parties.
