MOUNTAIN HUT IS DEDICATED TO PILOT
WELLINGTON, la^t night, A high-level hut on Mt. Crawford, in the Tararua Range, for the use of , deer cullers of the wild life service of the Department of Internal Affairs, is to be namcd aftcr and dedicated to the late Mr. O. J. C. Anderson, of Wellington. Mr. Anderson was the pilot of the aerodromes service of the Public Works Department, who recently lost his life in the crash of the aircraft in which he was carrying supplies for men engaged in deer elimination work in the Southland « Fiordland. He flew the components of the hut to the site. The hut will he formaily dedicated at a ceremony, a date for which has yet to be arranged. The Department of Internal Affairs is providing an inscribed tablet to be set up in the hut.
