Participants came from as far distant as Otorohanga, Tauranga and Whakatane. Cyclir.g Thriiis Some of the most thrilling races of the afternocn were tlie cvcle events. There were several spiils, }>ut the number of these was minimised hy the dry trark. Ilad rain fallen during the previous night, 01* in the day, there might have been more. All races were for Auckland provincial g'rass track titlos and many elubs wero represented.
