AGAINST EXTENSION OF HOTEL HOURS
Overwhelming Vote In New South Walqs SYDNEY, February 16. The liquor hours referendum in New South Wales resulted in an overwhelming vtoe against any extension of liquor trading ho.urs. Progress voting shows that there will be a majority for 6 p.m. as against 10 p.m. closing, of nearly five to one. When the counting closed at midnight last night, the voting totals were: 6 p.m., 02,734; 0 p.m., 22,345; 10 p.m., 18,861.
