MELBOURNE, February '14. In the return match with Victoria, •which opened at Melbourne to-day, England won the toss and elected to 'bat, making 266 for five wickets when stumps were drawn. Compton scored 93 and Fishloclc 51. Ikin is 51, not out, and Yardley 13, not out. Gibb (17), Hardstaff (-9), and Washhrook (22), were the other batsmen, extras being 10.
