PARIS STRIKE SPREADS TO NEWSPAPERS
PARIS, Feb. 14. At a pre-arvanged time, the 1700 linotype operators and compositors c.l' all the Paris newspapers stopped work and joined the newspaper telephonists, delivery and clerieal staflfs who have been on strike for three days. - ,v Puhlic Service employees, simultaneously, announced a sit-down demonstration for the afternoon of Fiiday. February 14, invclving the underground railway, post otfices, schools and the police. -^JThe Bur^te deteetives are identifving' themselves with the demonstration but say "vital security measures will be maintained." Work will also cease at Stateowned tobacco and matcll factories for an unspecified time. J
