Handicap B Grade Croquet Singles Completed
The B . Grade croquet handicap singles championship was won hy Mrs. Waddell (New Plymouth), after defeating Mrs. Smith (Rotorua), by 26 points to 24 in an exciting game at ihe Government Gardens yesterday. In the semi-finals, Mrs. Smith defeated Mrs. McMullin and Mrs. W'addell heat Mrs. Hill. The intermediate handicap singles are now teaching finality, and resu'lts of two sections • are known. Mrs. Knowles (Timaru), was the winner of Section 2, and'Mrs. Spinks (Paeroa), won Section 4. The finals will be played off to-day.
