SHEEP FAIR
The New Zealand Loan and Mereantile Agency Co., Ltd. reports a full yarding at its Ngongotaha sheep fair. There was strong inquiry for all classes of sheep, which sold very readily, values being on a par with recent quotations. Two-tooth ewes sold from 31s 3d to 35s 6d; m.a. ewes, 29s 3d to 30s; five-year ewes, 26s to 32s Gd; aged ewes to 18s. Two and four-tooth wethers, 25s 6d to 29s 9a; store lambs, 35s Cd to 29s 9d; eull lambs, at 23s 9d; two-tooth S.D. rams, 8 to 8:1 gns.; two-tooth Dorset rams, t0 8 g'ns.
