MANY CROQUET GRADES FINALISED
A Grade Singles Champ. To Be Played To-Day Play at the Government Gardens continued yesterday in the A. Grade handicap ^roquet singles and A and B Grade doubles. Several other ^rade competitions have been brought to finality. Mr. and Mrs. McClymont (Wanganui) on Saturlay defeated Mesdames Hilton and Handley in the finals of the A -Grade championship doubles and Mrs. Waddell (New Plymouth) was declared B Grade champion after beating Mrs. Edgerley. Y esterday the A Grade singles championship reached the semi-final stage and will be played off to-day. Mrs. Forsyth (Hamilton), winner of Section 2, defeated Mrs. Laurie (Pukekohe) winner of Section 4, Mr. McClymont (Wanganui), who won section 1, also beat Mrs. Thompson (Rotorua), section 3 winner. Mr. McClymont1 and Mrs. Forsyth will play c^.b'est of three games for the championship this morn-ing.
