SOUTH AFRICAN MARKET FOR U.S. CARS
DETROIT Harry D. Dodge, PreSident of Kai-ser-Frazer Expoi*t Corp. and GrahamPaige International Corp, said here that the Union of South Africa offers the best overseas mai'ket for American automobiles under existing import license and dollar exchange restrictions. 'Mr. Dodge, just returned from a second tour of lEuropean saies areas said other leading overseas markets, in the order of their current saies potentialities, are Argentina, Sweden, Portugal and Switzerland. ■He said it will be many months before most of the war-ravaged countries of Europe are able to conduct norma! import-export business operations, but added there is a tremendoijs European demand for American automobiles and other produ&ts.
