They wash the clothes for the haivrl latmdrymen. This demand fsr increased priees has taken the starch out of the hand men. The price is too high for wet wash, said a spokesman for the Chin- j ese Benevolent Association. "What will happen to our cus- j tomers?" he asked. He's afraid the"[ higher priees will "take them to the | cleaners." The poAver clan, on the other hand, j thinks this is a lot of suds^The • overall costs will average only l^out j about 21i cents a bundle, they say. I Meanwhile, the matter has reached I high levels.
