Intervention On Behalf Of Condemned Greeks
ATHENS, Feb. 7. The United Nafcions Inquiry Commission here has cabled the Seeurity Council-, urging it to- approach the Greelc Government on behalf of seven Greeks under sentence of de^.th for political offences. The execution of six of the Greeks has been postponed for some hours and the Seeurity Council has been asked tc- deal with the mafcter immediately.
