VON PAPEN ARRESTED AT TRIAL FOR PERJURY

\ BERLIX, February 5. Franz von Papen, the former German diplomat, wh0 was acquitted at Nuremberg, was dramatically arrested in the middle of his denazification trial to-day. hecause he had given false evidence. The Court's President, Herr Sachs, said that von Papen would be under guard for the remaindgr uf his trial. Reuter's Nuremberg correspondent reveals that ' the false evidnce for -.vhich von Papen was arrested was to the Court relating to Hindenberg's reconimendation in his politiea! testa.nent of 1934, which virfually put Hitler into power. Herr Sachs ruled that previous evidence established that von Papen was responsible for drafting the Hitler reconimendation »clause in Hindenberg's statement. The correspondent addgd that the Denazification Court sent von Papen - nack to prison on a charge of perjury, Put his arrest will not interfere with von Papen's trial, whiclyi will he resumed to-morrow.
