NEW ARMY WALKING--OUT DRESS
A picked squad of soldiers acting as "Army models" for the blue walk-ing-ont dress, marched into the arena at the British Legion Festival of llemembrance at Albert Hall. This was the first time the proposed new dress had been seen in public. 'I His is what those present said: Ex-R.S.M. of the Guards: Could do with a bit of livening up. Ex-Offiicer: Nothing to really attract young men to the Army. Ex-Servicemen: Jolly good. Not much to keep clean.
