FRANCE FACING FOOD CRISIS
Dissatisfaction With American Wheat Allocations WASHINGTON, February 2. Belgian, Dtutch and Swiss spokesi men have all expressed dissatisfaction | at the size of the March allocation oi , wheat. The French Minister of Agri ' culture is going to Washington this week to try to get cereals to make up the damage the severe weather ha; done to newly-sown erops. Correspondents say that even now people in the big towns in France ari facing their worst food crisis since thc war. Meat, wine and coffee are al limited, and there are prospects oi more severe shortages. It is feareo. that the shortages may send prices up and interfere with the Govemment's anti-inflation policy.
