HEALTH STAMP RETURNS IN ROTORUA POOR

The sale of health stamps in the Rotorua area has not been good during the present. period of issue. Normally the Post Office staff assist in the saies campaign but this year all available staff has been needed to give the public even a reasonable service. Consequently the Post Office staff can give little assistance. ■ Fortunately, members of the Rotorua Women's Club have interested themselves in the cause and for two afternoons, from a table in the Post Ofiice public space, have substantially increased the saies. Later, a canvas of the business area may be undertaken, and this should brin'g the saies up to a creditable figure. At the moment stocks of the 3d value are good but stocks in other centres must be nearing exhaustion. Recently twenty sheets of the l|d value w,ere withdrawn from Rotorua for return to .Wellington for sale there and as a result stocks of this value in Rotorua is now low.
