Clark wearing a verv smart nuvy silt frock with white accessos ies and a sh.nildei spray of pink ittses. The sisters of the guest of honour piesent were Mrs. Dainty, of Auckland, vvho wore a pink linen eos-. tume embroidered with a darkcr shade of jiink, and Mrs. Kerr, of Ngongotaha. in a blaek velvet G'ock with jeWv iled elij. • fastened at the neckKao. • ' Miss Joy Benneit, of Ngongotaha, gave an exhihition of the huia, which was mueh appreciated. Mrs. ounii, an old friend of the family, made a special trip from Auckland to attend the fesiivities. The guest of the evening was presented with a key hy his falher. The decorated hirthday cake was the work oi' Mrs. Lilley, of Ngongotaha. Dancing to Alf Brown's or-ciu.'.-.tra was l.ept up ti 11 a late hour.
