Dutch Interest In German Treaty

LONDON, Jan. 29. Holland gave only limited support to the Australian move to associate the smaller Powers with the preparation of the Ausj trian and German Peace Treaties j when. the Foreign Ministers' deputies resumed their discussion j on the German Treaty this after- j noon. j The chief delegate, Dr. Van Vrede- . burch, said that Holland felt that the small Powers should participate in all the discussions of those aspects . of the German problem in which they , wero directly and mainly concerned. Holland was directly interested in the German treaty and the western frontiers and much less closely concerned in the eastern frontiers 011 the Austrlian Treaty. The delegate made three procedural proposals: — (1) That expert committees should immediately study all the technical issues connected with the German Treaty, such as frontier rectification. n(2) That the knowledge and experience of Germany's neighbour countries should be used towards tbe solution of the German problem. | (3) Seeondary matters should be submitted to arbitration where agreement could not be reached.
