RESTORATION OF 1937 FRONTIERS

British View On Future Of Austria LONDON, Jan. 29. British views on the future of Austria have been outlined by the War Ministry. It is urged that Austria should be established as anindependent State with her 1937 frontiers. Yugoslavia's claims on Austria are described as quite baseless. When the Treaty is signed, Britain and it was hoped, the other Powers, would. withdraw all forces. The Austrian Chancellor has arrived in London to puta his Government's view before the Foreign Ministers' Assembly. On March 13, 1938, Austria, with an area of 34,064' square miles and a population of about 7,000,000, was incorporated in the Third Reich as Ostmark.
