STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARED IN TRINIDAD
P.ORT OF RPAIM, January 22. The Governof of Trinidad has declared a state of emergency through- ■ out the colony following strike disturbances that have already caused great destruction in the oilfields. There was rioting yesterday in the cSpital, Port of Spain, where a crowd tried to storm the Government offiees. There has been another big ture in the oilfield area, a battery of tanks being eompletely destroyed.
