M.C.C. CRICKETERS WILL TOUR NEW ZEALAND

CH'CHURCH, Last Night. The M.C.C. cricket team v/ill tour New Zealand after the conclusion of the fifth Test match at Sydney and will play four threeday matches. This was announced *to:day by Mr. E. E. Luttrell, secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council. The manager of the English teamj Major R. Howard, has appro-ved of a programme which was one of several submitted to him. The party will consist of Major Howard and 13 of the players at present in Australia. The itincrary is as follows: — March 10, 11 and 12, Wellington; March 15, 17, 18, Otago; March 21, 22, 24, New Zealand at Christchurch; March 27, 28, 29, Auckland. It is presumed that the team will travel to New Zealand by air as the fast Test is restricted to six days, and will conclude on March 6. The first mateh in New Zealand will begin four days later. A message from Sydney states that the English cricket team will fiy back to England. This will enable them to keep faith with New Zealand and it will also enable them to get back to England in time for the opening of the county cricket season.
