WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Chief of the Imperial General Staff, Pield-Marshal Viseount Montgomery, will spend a fortnight in New Zealand in July. During his visit he will discuss defence questions 'With the New Zealand Government, and military chiefs of staff. The Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, stated to-nighl that advice had been received by the Government that Field-Marshal Montgomery would leave the United Kingdom on June 26 and arrive in Australia on .Tuly 1. He will arrive in New Zealand by air on July 16, and will leave the Dominion on July 31. Field-Marshal Montgomery is dne back in the United Kingdom on August 5. 'Mr. Fraser 'said that he hoped Field-Marshal Montgomery, who would be the guest of the New Zealand Government, would be able to see as much as possible of the country. Ajrrang-elnients for his visit would be made by the Government, and a programme would be drawn up in due course.
