Losses in Palembang Battle:
The 'Netherla^nds Qoverinment am nounced that 250: Chinese were killed, l'OOO' wounded and 600 missing as a result of the Dutch-Indonesian battle at Palembang between January 1 and 5. Other Chinese lost their homes and were vietims of looting and arson when the battle surrounded them.
