AUCKLAND, Last Night. Following the death of a young farmer at Taumarunui hospital shortly after mid-day on Saturday, two boys, one of whom^is 14 and the other 16, will appear in the Auckland Police Court to-morrow on a charge of murdering Raymond Douglas • Brinkman at Te Whakarae on January 12. j They are Cyril Pascoe and Jam.es Frederick Dodd. | Mr. Brinkman, who had been shot in the stomach with a pea rifle, was found lying on the side of the road near his father's farm property at Te Whakarae, a few miles from Taumarunui, where he woiked. He was agecl 22, and was the elclest son of Mr. Harry Brinkman, of Taumarunui. Admitted to hospital on January 12 in a serious condition, he died on Saturday. j About two hours after Brinkman was found on the roadside, Detective Cromwell arrested two boys as they were walking towards Ohura along' the main road about five miles from the farm. They are alleged to have escaped from Owairaka Boys' fiome.
