NEW APPOINTMENT FOR SIR RODERICK CARR
LONDON, January 17. : Air-Marshal Sir Roderick Garr, soh of the late Mr. Charles Carr, of-Roto-' _ rua, who formerly commanded No. 4 , Bomber Command, ahd was Air Officer 'Commanding, India, has beeh appomted' divisional controller of civil aerodromes for the London ared and south-east England. This is the second of four appoiniments to the posts of divisional cotttrollers which are being created on' a geographical basis to cover the Uni- • ted Kingdom and Northern Iraland. ' Sir Roderick's district will include ;r London airport, Northolt and Croy- ■ don.
