Alleged Maltreatment By British Troops
LONDON, Jan. 16, A council of the West Lc-ndon Synagogue$ has passed a resolution condemning terrorism hy Jews in Palestine. The resolution calls on all Jewisli organisations to use their influence to suppress terrorism by kll means in their power. In Palestine, persistent allegatio-ns have been made by Jews that they have been ill-treated by members of the British Sixth Airborne Division. A complete brigade of this division was drawn up on a football field in a Tel Aviv suburb, and Jews were invited to go through the Iines and pick out any man who had taken part in any aileged antiJewish incident. Thus hundreds of the victims had their opportunity to identify their tormenters. Not one of th-e thousand men, liowever, was picked out.
