Huge Project To 'Develop Jet Principle LONDON, January 15. The Government is to build a huge experimental station ttf develop jet engines fhr elejctjrical power plants, locomotives and ships, as well as aireraft, reports the Laily Ekpres. It will probably be startedi near Bedford, and will employ thousands. The development of gas turbine power plants means that liquid fuel, instead of coal, will tbe used for generating current. The project will be controlled by Dr. Harold 'Roxbee Cox, director of the National Gas Turbine Estahlis'hment.
