Polling Commissioners Killed or Kidnapped
>■ Twenty-three members of the Warsaw Polling Commission were murdered and eight kidnapped — and believed to be dead — during December, stated a Government spokesman, quoted by Reuter's Warsaw correspondent. The spokesman, when aske'ff by correspondents about the arrest of a , person whom they had. interviewed, said: "Nobody in Poland would be arrested for speaking to a correspondent. We could not arrest half of Poland." .
